Your campsite in the Loire-Atlantique

If you stay at our campsite in La Turballe, you’ll be within easy reach of the whole of the Loire-Atlantique and its gems. Take, for example, the Guérande peninsula, home to numerous beaches, marinas and magnificent seaside resorts: La Baule, Le Croisic, Le Pouliguen, Batz-sur-Mer, Pornichet... Not forgetting Guérande, its medieval village and, most famously, its salt marshes where the scenery amazes holidaymakers and locals alike.

Away from the coast, take the time to visit the Brière Regional Natural Park, one of the largest wetlands in France. Marshland, bocage and canals set the scene in this extraordinary area. The territory is also known for its traditional thatched houses, typical of the region.

A stay at a campsite in Loire-Atlantique is also an opportunity to taste the specialities of Nantes and its region. Treat yourself to a gourmet break and sample sweet treats such as the Petit Beurre biscuit, the Baulois and Gâteau Nantais cakes, the Niniches du Pouliguen lollipops... sugary delights that have made the region’s reputation! If you prefer something more savoury, the Curé Nantais cheese and La Turballe sardines are definitely worth a try. And who could forget the Muscadet, the ideal white wine for an aperitif!

Finally, at Parc Sainte Brigitte, you’ll also be ideally located for a trip to Brittany. The enchanting landscapes of the Gulf of Morbihan and the Bay of Quiberon are less than an hour and a half away. Pénestin, Arzal and La Roche-Bernard are all great places to visit. So you have not one but two gorgeous regions to explore!
